Blackjack

Blackjack is one of the most popular games because it is fast and offers the best house odds. The object of blackjack is to have cards that come as close to 21 as possible without going over 21. All number cards are valued at their number amount while the Jack, Queen and King are 10 and the Ace is either 1 or 11.

Online blackjack is a simple game for beginners. Players have the opportunity to sit and keep the card they current have in their hand, hit to get another card from the dealer or double in order to double their bet and get only one extra card from the dealer. In a few versions of online blackjack, there is also the option of surrendering before the end of the game to only lose half the wager.

If the dealers hand is higher than the players, the player looses. If the dealer is less than the player, the player wins. If either hand is over 21 then it is a bust and the person looses the game. If both the player and dealer end up with the same amount then the hand is called a Push and the money is held over for the next game.
